La Cuvée Levroutée DOMAINE DE LA BONGRAN
Viré-Clessé, the tradition of overripe grapes
Derived from old local dialect, the term “levrouté” refers to the coat of a levraut—a young hare—whose golden-brown hue mirrors the colour taken on by the grapes as over-ripeness sets in.
Born of ancestral winemaking traditions and a particularly favourable terroir, this cuvée offers richness and roundness while preserving the freshness of the Quintaine terroir. Intense and deep, its colour invites you to discover powerful aromas of acacia honey and truffle, while retaining the freshness that is the signature of Domaine de la Bongran.
